Exteriors are the most wanted form of 3D visualization and have become almost standard for every new building. Usually 6-7 views are made in 2560x1440px resolution, which is enough for display on web pages. 4 pedestrian perspectives and 2-3 bird's eye views are shown. But if the building is of a more complex shape, more views can be made by agreement.
If you want to print the renders on a billboard, you should note this and know the exact dimensions of the poster in in or cm, because the dimensions of the rendering depend on this.
There are two possible types of exterior visualization:
- 3D view in a generic environment or with only the outline volumes of neighboring buildings displayed.
- photomontage of a 3D model of the building onto a photo of the location in order to see the exact relationship of the planned building to neighboring buildings.
The most common question is how much does it cost? The price is not defined per m2 because the production time, and consequently the price, depends on the complexity of the building (division of volume, quantity and type of material...) and not only on the square footage of the building. The good news is that lately AI tools are speeding up production, but even they are not all-powerful and do not work by themselves, but they need to be given high-quality and as detailed as possible inputs, which is again a process that requires a certain amount of time, but again much shorter and more favorable for you than it was until now.
The process for each project is that you first send us the building plans (floor plans, facades, sections and situation), in dwg or pdf format, based on which we will make you an accurate quote for the project.
Creating conceptual or realistic interior renderings. With conceptual renderings, you leave the furnishing of the space to us, in which case it is sufficient to provide us with a floor plan showing the position of the furniture in the room. Such renderings only serve to convey to the client the size of the room, but not the interior design itself. With more complex, realistic renderings, you define practically everything you want us to put into the scene; the type of floor, the color of the walls, the design of the furniture, the type of lighting... Such a render faithfully conveys the exact future appearance of the space.
Usually 1-2 views per room are made in 2560x1440px resolution for display on websites. Also, as with exteriors, to define the exact price, you need to provide us with drawings and exact requirements for what you want to be created.
Rendered floor plans are visually more appealing to non-technical buyers because they provide a certain depth and make it easier to understand the space of the apartment. They are increasingly used to present apartments for sale in apartment catalogs, floor plans of apartments for rent, or hotel rooms. There are three basic choices for presenting floor plans:
- Perspective 3D view from above
- Axonometric view
- Colored and textured "flat" view from above.
Creating animations is the most demanding task in visualization, but also the most effective. When creating animations, it is not enough to equip just one corner of a room or view of an object and render the image, but all parts of the room must be done in equal detail, it is necessary to set the camera path, render a large number of "frames", and then do the video editing.
This process has recently been significantly accelerated by using AI tools, and therefore much cheaper than it has been so far.
We offer you the service of creating apartment catalogs. Catalogs are made in PDF format for presentation on the web, which is more common these days, or in CMYK PDF for graphic preparation for printing, which is very rare these days. Times are changing quickly, it used to be the other way around.
The catalog can be created with 3D floor plans, but also with 2D floor plans from AutoCAD if you do not need 3D or want a more affordable option. To create it, you need to provide us with the building plans and a list of the areas for each apartment.
